Planning a celebration, then where better than the Wessex hotel. We are a popular choice for many private parties due to the number of function rooms we have available combined with our high standard of accommodation and personal, friendly service.
21st Birthdays, Christenings, Wedding Anniversaries, Engagements, Graduation, or just a good fun get together with your friends or family; there are many reasons to have a party. The hotel can offer for private function rooms, two of which have their own bar, for you and your party to have your own individual space.
The Grand Ballroom: Maximum Capacity 250 dining with dance floor.
The Wessex Suite: Maxi/mum Capacity 50 dining with dance floor.
These rooms are very much in demand where a party is required but on a budget, as it allows guests to buy their own drinks as much or as little as they wish, avoiding the need for a drinks budget.
If a private bar is not a requirement we also have available The Olive Tree with a Maximum Capacity of 90 dining, with dance floor and patio doors onto the outside terrace.
Our talented team of Chefs will be happy to provide a bespoke menu for your dining requirement alternatively hot & cold buffets can be provided on request.
