Disability Welcome
The Wessex Hotel actively encourages all guests to our hotel including those with a disability. Our car park has several disabled spaces directly in front of the hotel entrance and large double doors with a ramp providing access to the reception desk. The bar area and restaurant are both easily accessible through wide doors on the ground floor of the hotel and all floors of the hotel can be reached by lift which can accommodate a manual wheelchair and carer. From May 2009 we will be able to offer rooms with a walk in shower for guests who would prefer not to use a bath.
